Our social networking pages have been created in an effort to remain in contact with our former residents while at the same time maintaining healthy relationships and boundaries. Therefor, specific policies exist with in our agency stating that current staff of Cathedral Home for Children are not permitted to accept friend requests from alumni residents on their personal Facebook or MySpace pages. However, they are welcome to communicate with former residents through the public accounts (mentioned above) authorized by Cathedral Home for Children.
Also, we continue to respect the privacy and confidentiality of our residents through the use of our social networking sites. Those that request their photo and name not be used for marketing purposes are not utilized.
