Cathedral Home For Children Continuous Positions

Applications accepted on a continuous basis for the following positions, regardless of whether an actual position is open:

Youth Workers (both full-time and part-time)
Youth Workers are the direct care staff that work with the residents of Cathedral Home at all locations, including the primary campus north of Laramie, the Laramie Youth Crisis Center, and the Residential Homes within Laramie. Case management responsibilities are also part of the job duties.

Cathedral Home provides a paid training to all incoming youth workers at $8.00 per hour.

Starting pay range after the completion of on-site training is $9.00 to $9.50 per hour for part-time Youth Workers and $10.00 to $12.50 per hour for full-time Youth Workers.

Cathedral Home for Children actively supports the policy to hire from within when internal candidates meet or exceed position requirements.

Teacher’s Assistants
Teacher’s Assistants (TAs) are Para-professionals working in the Mae Olson Education Center, a fully accredited, on-grounds, year round school at Cathedral Home for Children. TAs assist in the classroom and substitute teach when teachers are absent. A current Wyoming Substitute Teaching Certificate is required for this position. Preference is given to those with a teaching degree in secondary education.  Regular school year hours are M-F 7:30am-4:30pm. Summer hours may vary due to the opportunities for overnight excursions and outdoor activities that occur as part of the Summer Program .
