Harvey & Biegert Houses
“Our goal is to provide a therapeutic environment that promotes health and independence through more adult choices, responsibilities, and expectations.”
-Biegert and Harvey House Team
The Beigert and Harvey House provide smaller homes with intensive residential services in a community setting. Each accommodates up to five young people who seek to finish high school and become well-rounded and independent citizens of the community while dealing with complex emotional and psychological issues.
Kirsten Bean provides counseling services to each resident on an individual and family basis. Both homes are staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team that provides an environment conducive to learning vocational skills and emotional regulation. Although the types and combinations of treatment vary, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and milieu therapy are included. Each home also teaches young people the skills needed in every area of their life to successfully make it on their own.
Both homes are directed by Sharon Weber. The coordinator for the Beigert house is Luis Roybal, while the Harvey house coordinator is Belinda Bacon.
