On My Own

An independent living program that offers assistance to young people between 16-19 years of age, who are currently in the custody of the Wyoming Department of Family Services. These are young adults who are court ordered to the program and are usually transitioning from foster care, group homes or treatment facilities. Each youth is assigned an individual worker who will provide one-on-one assistance, teaching independent living skills. These skills include:

• Physical Development & Self-Care
• Values Clarification
• Money Management
• Community Resources
