About Us

For almost 100 years, Cathedral Home for Children has been helping children who are at their lowest points of their childhood. Begun as an orphanage, the Home now serves troubled and traumatized youth, including those that are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
Our long and honorable history speaks to our deep devotion to children. We are committed to helping children reclaim and rebuild their lives.
Cathedral Home is certified by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), is a member of the Child Welfare League of America, and the Wyoming Youth Services Association.
Our full service school is accredited by both the Wyoming and California Departments of Education. Both high school diplomas and GEDs are awarded to children who meet their educational goals.
For questions about admissions, court ordered treatments (ChINS), school concerns (IEPs), DFS custody, and other commonly asked questions, please visit our FAQs page. Otherwise, enjoy your virtual tour of Cathedral Home for Children.
